HOW TO APPLY Cornell Faces Cornell Campus

International Students: Financial Aid

All applicants for financial aid who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States are considered international students.

Please note that candidates with applications pending for U.S. permanent residency must provide proof of permanent resident status to the Financial Aid and Student Employment Office by May 1 in order to be eligible for aid in the following fall semester. Students who have been granted refugee or asylum are considered for financial aid on the same basis as U.S. citizens.

Cornell University is pleased to provide financial aid to students who are not citizens of the United States. Financial aid for international students is made available from Cornell University funds as well as from scholarships that include (but are not limited to) the Cornell Club of Hong Kong Scholarship, The Robert and Wendy Purcell Scholarship for students from the Philippines and Thailand, and the Tata Scholarship for students from India.

International students should complete the Cornell University International Financial Aid Application and the College Scholarship Service (CSS) PROFILE. For further information on applying for aid as an international student, please visit the Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment.
