Pathway to Success Cornell Faces Cornell Campus

Program Benefits

Participation in the Pathway to Success program will help prepare you for admission and the transition to Cornell University or another four-year institution.

Program participants are:

  • invited to a Cornell reception and program introduction at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Morrisville State College, Monroe Community College, Nassau County Community College and Suffolk County Community College campuses
  • invited to spend a day on the Cornell campus to learn about the university's academic departments and meet current community college transfers
  • invited to workshops at Borough of Manhattan Community College, Morrisville State College, Monroe Community College, Nassau County Community College and Suffolk County Community College focused on the Cornell application process and financial aid opportunities
  • eligible for waiver of the Cornell admissions application fee
  • invited to a visit to Cornell, once admitted, to visit classes, stay with a student, meet your faculty advisor, plan your fall schedule
  • invited to a transition orientation prior to beginning studies at Cornell

Once you enroll at Cornell, you will receive

  • invitations to transfer student events
  • stipend for living expenses while pursuing an unpaid summer internship
  • assistance with child-care expenses
  • peer mentoring
  • access to career development services to identify internship and career options
  • opportunities for undergraduate research
