It is anticipated that most Pathway to Success program participants will apply for admission to Cornell University. Over the course of the program, students will receive detailed information about Cornell’s admission requirements, the application process, and financial aid. The deadline for transfer applications is March 15 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester. To further support Monroe Community College and Morrisville State College students interested in Cornell, applicants will be considered for admission to more than one undergraduate college or school.
In keeping with the “any person, any study” principle, admission to Cornell is need-blind. That is, financial status has no bearing on the admissions decision. All financial aid at Cornell is awarded on the basis of a student’s financial need, and in the past year more than $90 million of university funds were awarded to undergraduate students. Financial-aid counselors work closely with each student to create a financial-aid package tailored to the student’s particular situation. By completing the Early Financial Aid Estimate Application before you apply to Cornell, you will be able to see how much financial aid you are eligible to receive. This is your chance to see how affordable Cornell can be.
