Cornell University enrolls a dynamic group of motivated and intellectually curious transfer students.
In fact, of the more than 500 transfer students who enroll at the university each year, approximately one-third are community college students. Cornell recognizes community colleges as a vital pathway for students interested in continuing their education, and we invite you to consider participating in an exciting new program.
Through the generous support of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, Cornell University has created the Pathway to Success Community College Partnership program with
Morrisville State College and
Monroe Community College to provide prospective transfer students with information, support, and guidance as they explore the transfer admission and financial-aid processes. Reflecting the inclusive values of Cornell University, one goal of the Pathway to Success Partnership is to encourage low- and moderate-income community college students at Monroe and Morrisville to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Cornell. Another goal is to develop potential partnerships between other community colleges and selective four-year institutions, using this program as a model.
